Which cartridge do Dual turntables come with from the factory?
Dual turntables come from the factory with an Ortofon OM cartridge — one of the most reliable cartridges in this price class. We are happy to advise on upgrades.

Do I need a phono preamplifier for a Dual turntable?
Dual CS turntables have a built-in phono preamplifier and can be connected directly to any amplifier. An external phono pre is optional for better sound.
