About Dual

Dual was founded in 1907 by brothers Christian and Josef Steidinger in St. Georgen in the Black Forest. The brand name goes back to the 'Dual motor' introduced in 1927 — a combination of spring and electric motor.

In the following decades Dual rose to become at times Germany's largest turntable manufacturer. To this day the name stands for turntable tradition made in Germany.
