What is the difference between the Ortofon 2M Red and Blue?
The 2M Red is the entry point with an elliptical profile — solid sound for every vinyl newcomer. The 2M Blue has a more precise elliptical stylus and sounds more detailed and open. The upgrade is worthwhile from a mid-range system upwards.

Can I swap the stylus of the Ortofon 2M Red for a Blue stylus?
Yes — all 2M styli (Red, Blue, Bronze, Black) fit the same cartridge body. You can start more affordably and upgrade later without having to buy a new cartridge.

Does Ortofon fit every turntable?
Ortofon 2M cartridges use the standard half-inch headshell mount that fits 95% of all turntables — Pro-Ject, Dual, Rega, Technics and many more. We are happy to check compatibility in advance.
