Buying guide

These units have been sold and can no longer be ordered. The pages stay online: specifications, condition notes and photos remain available even after the unit has left the shop.

Why do sold units stay online?

Vintage model numbers are searched for continuously, whether or not a unit happens to be in stock. If you want to know which inputs a particular cassette deck had, or what condition an amplifier was in when we sold it, the details are here — instead of a deleted page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still buy a unit from the archive?

No. Every unit in the archive is a single item and already sold. You will find comparable models in our pre-owned categories.

Will the same model come in again?

Possibly, but we cannot plan it: our pre-owned stock comes from purchases and trade-ins, not from reordering. If you are looking for a particular model, get in touch.

How were these units checked?

Like every pre-owned unit we sell: inputs, controls, transports and channel balance are checked, faults are named and signs of use photographed. We are a specialist dealer that inspects, not a repair workshop.
