The Dual CS 429 is a convenient fully automatic turntable designed for music lovers who want high quality engineering combined with effortless operation. With the press of a button the entire playback process starts automatically. The tonearm moves to the record on its own and returns to its resting position when playback is finished. This makes the CS 429 perfect for relaxed vinyl listening without manual handling.
The precisely regulated belt drive ensures smooth platter rotation and stable speed. Thanks to optical speed control the motor runs extremely consistently and delivers clean and detailed sound reproduction.
The straight, statically balanced tonearm with high quality ball bearings allows precise tracking of the record. The CS 429 comes factory fitted with the well known Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, known for its dynamic sound and strong musical detail.
A solid MDF plinth with subchassis construction and integrated vibration dampers effectively isolate the platter and tonearm from external vibrations. This keeps playback clear, stable and musical. The heavy aluminium die cast platter with a damping rubber mat further reduces unwanted resonance.
The Dual CS 429 combines classic hi fi engineering with modern user convenience and is an excellent entry point into high quality vinyl playback.
