How long does it take to clean a record with HumminGuru?
A complete cleaning session takes about 5 minutes per side — including the ultrasonic bath and automatic drying. An LP is fully cleaned and dry in about 15 minutes.

Does ultrasound damage the records?
No — 40kHz ultrasound is completely safe for vinyl. The sound waves loosen dirt particles from the grooves without attacking the material. Even delicate SACDs and audiophile pressings can be cleaned without any problem.

How often does the water in the HumminGuru need changing?
Depending on how dirty the records are, we recommend changing the water every 5–10 records. HumminGuru supplies distilled water for the first cleanings.
