T.A.C. V-88 Tube Integrated Amplifier

The award-winning TAC V-60 now has a worthy successor: the TAC V-88. Equipped with patented bias regulation technology, the V-88 delivers excellent performance across all genres—rock, classical, or jazz.

Thanks to the automatic bias control, the tubes always operate in the optimal range. Whether in Class A or AB mode, the signal is perfectly amplified. The V-88 is powered by four Russian KT88 output tubes (two per channel), while the preamp section uses 6CG7 tubes—also Russian-made—for their superior sound quality and robust performance.

Signal input is handled by Russian 12AX7 tubes, known for their homogeneous and clear sound profile. To maximize the performance of these tubes, gold-plated sockets are used. The output transformers—an essential component for tube amp sound quality—are built with extra care. Special laminated cores reduce turbulence and magnetic interference.

The transformers are shielded with metallic enclosures and filled with epoxy granules to ensure stability and minimize vibration. The power transformer follows the same strict standards. Due to the well-known influence of current and voltage on audio quality, great care has been taken in the V-88's power supply. MOSFET transistors are used in constant current and voltage circuits, significantly improving sound quality and extending tube life. Naturally, the TAC V-88 features the same automatic bias technology as its predecessor.

Electronic devices (amplifiers, streamers, CD players, turntables)

Operate only in dry, enclosed indoor spaces. Avoid moisture, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use only the specified mains voltage — do not overload power strips. Do not switch on devices with damaged cables or housings. Keep ventilation slots clear: at least 10 cm distance from walls and other devices. Place stably and securely — no open liquid containers nearby. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Speakers

Place on a stable surface or suitable stands. No moisture, no direct sunlight. Operate only with matching amplifiers and correctly polarised cables. Do not use as a storage surface. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Cables (speaker cables, RCA, power cables)

Use only for the intended purpose. Always pull by the plug, never by the cable. Avoid kinks, sharp edges and pressure from heavy objects. Replace visibly damaged cables immediately. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Accessories (adapters, mounts, cleaning agents, styli, headshells)

Use only according to the manufacturer's instructions. No aggressive cleaning agents, no damp environments. Store small parts safely due to choking hazard. Mount accessories correctly to avoid damage or malfunction.

General notes

Read the operating instructions before use. No unauthorised repairs or opening of devices. Always contact a specialist service for technical problems. We are happy to answer any questions about safe use at any time.

Taxes and pricing according to German VAT law (UStG)

Consumers in Germany and the EU

All prices include the applicable VAT according to § 1 para. 1 in conjunction with § 12 UStG. Taxation within the EU follows the One-Stop-Shop procedure under § 18j UStG. The VAT rate of the respective destination country applies.

Deliveries to third countries (outside the EU)

Deliveries outside the EU are VAT-exempt according to § 4 no. 1a UStG in conjunction with § 6 UStG. German VAT is deducted from the displayed price — you pay the net price.
