xDynavox VC80 Record Clamp – Lightweight Precision Clamping for Improved Stability
The Dynavox VC80 is a lightweight, practical record clamp and a smart alternative to heavy stabilizers. Instead of using mass, it secures the record with a precise clamping mechanism. This prevents the LP from slipping during playback and reduces unwanted resonances, resulting in a cleaner and more stable sound.
Thanks to its low weight, the VC80 is gentle on sensitive platter bearings and improves speed stability. This makes it an excellent choice for sub-chassis turntables where heavy stabilizers can cause issues.
The clamping mechanism is made from anodized aluminum combined with high-quality polyoxymethylene (POM), a technical material commonly used for precision engineering components. This results in excellent durability and stability while keeping the overall weight low.

Electronic devices (amplifiers, streamers, CD players, turntables)
- Use only in dry indoor environments. Avoid humidity, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Always use the specified mains voltage. Do not overload power strips.
- Do not switch on devices with damaged cables, plugs or housings.
- Keep ventilation openings clear. Maintain at least 10 cm distance from walls or other devices.
- Place devices on a stable and secure surface. Do not place open containers with liquids above them.
- Keep devices out of reach of children and pets.
Speakers
- Place on a stable surface or suitable stands.
- Avoid humidity and direct sunlight.
- Use only with suitable amplifiers and correctly wired speaker cables.
- Do not use speakers as a storage or support surface.
- Keep speakers out of reach of children and pets.
Cables (speaker cables, cinch, mains cables)
- Use cables only for their intended purpose.
- Disconnect by pulling the plug, never by pulling the cable.
- Avoid kinks, sharp edges and heavy objects on the cables.
- If there is visible damage, replace the cable immediately.
- Keep cables out of reach of children and pets.
